Apple has released new public software updates for all users. Users can now download iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 on their compatible iPhones and iPads. The update comes after Apple released iOS 18.1 developer beta 1 for testing.

With iOS 18’s public release just over a month away, iOS 17.6 is a minor update that brings performance improvements and bug fixes to iOS devices. One new feature that is part of iOS 17.6 is for the TV app. The feature that is called Catch Up will allow users to catch up on the live stream of a game in progress by viewing clips of highlights.

To download this update over the air head over to Settings -> General -> Software Update. You can also manually install iOS 17.6 using iTunes or Finder through the iOS 17.6 IPSW links shared below.

Along with iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6, Apple has also released macOS 14.6, watchOS 10.6, tvOS 17.6, and visionOS 1.3. All of them are also available for download.
