Apple has released iOS 17.6.1 and iPadOS 17.6.1 updates for everyone and are now available for download. If you have an iOS 17-compatible device, then you can now download this update over the air.
iOS 17.6.1 update comes with an important bug fix related to Advance Data Protection. According to the update’s release notes this update addresses the issue that prevented the user from enabling and disabling the Advanced Data Protection feature.
iOS 17.6.1 comes just over a week after the release of iOS 17.6.
You can download iOS 17.6.1 over the air by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. You can also download iOS 17.6.1 IPSW files from the official links shared below and use iTunes or Finder to install the iOS update manually.
Along with iOS 17.6.1 and iPadOS 17.6.1, Apple has also released macOS 14.6.1 for Mac users and it is also available for download right now.
Update: The following IPSW links have been updated with the re-released version of iOS 17.6.1 that carries the build number 21G101.
