Apple has released iOS 18.7.2 and iPadOS 18.7.2 updates. The update has been released for devices that are still running iOS 18.7.1 or lower and have not been updated to iOS 26 yet.
iOS 18.7.2 is a minor update that brings security and bug fixes to iOS devices. Even though the update has been released for all iOS 18-compatible devices, Apple has not shared the iOS 18.7.2 IPSW for newer models. This makes downgrading from iOS 26 to iOS 18.7.2 impossible.
Apple has made iOS 18.7.2 IPSW files available for iPhone and iPad models that have not received the iOS 26 update, which includes iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR. We have shared IPSW links for these devices below.
If you have an iPhone or iPad running iOS 18, then you can update your device to iOS 18.7.2 by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. Make sure you update to iOS 18.7.2 and not iOS 26, which should also be available as an option on the same page.
